End-of-the-season wrap-up: despite the clouds and coolness last Sunday... Alfredo, Chris, Donny, and I enjoyed a two hour walk on the Wildwood trail. A few shafts of sunlight came down upon toward the end of the walk. At the trailhead parking lot was a woman and eight kids...all those kids were excited to see us barefoot and asked about us. A number of trail walkers noted us too.
Afterwards...we enjoyed a nice feast at my home. Alfredo brought Chilean Empenadas (sp?), Chris brought a nice home-made garden salad, Donny brought chips and a fruit plate, and I provided BBQ spring chinook salmon, home-made Berry-Pudding Tarts and five types of ice cream if the tarts weren't enough. A good feast capping off a nice hiking season....to be sure!
